The Charger-Inverter VICTRON MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 is a versatile energy management solution that enhances the features of the MultiPlus, offering the additional option of an Energy Storage System (ESS). The VICTRON MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 functions as an inverter/charger with extended PowerControl and PowerAssist capacities up to 32 A each, thanks to an external sensor option.

Designed for professional off-grid applications such as marine navigation, yachts, vehicles, and agriculture, the VICTRON MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 features integrated anti-islanding functionality and an evolving list of certifications from various countries for ESS applications. System configurations are flexible and suitable for various needs, as described in the ESS design and configuration manual.

The PowerControl and PowerAssist functions enhance the capacity of the grid or generator. By setting a maximum input current from the grid or generator, the VICTRON MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 intelligently manages loads and prioritizes battery charging to prevent overload. PowerAssist goes further by compensating for short-term high power demands using battery energy when the load exceeds supply and using excess energy to recharge the battery when the load decreases.

The integration of solar energy allows the Charger-Inverter VICTRON 48/3000/35-32 to operate autonomously by connecting to photovoltaic systems and other alternative sources. It is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-tied inverters.

With two AC outputs, the main output serves as a continuous power supply system, providing instantaneous power during grid or generator interruptions. The second output is active only when AC input is available, adapting to loads that do not consume battery energy, such as water heaters.
