The HONDA BF 135D XCRU comes complete with the VTEC™ system that keeps fuel consumption down while delivering an exciting increase in power. First used on Honda's Formula One cars, it delivers increased power and torque at all engine speeds. 

The HONDA BF 135D XCRU features BLAST™ (Boosted Low Speed Torque), which delivers high torque even at low revs by unleashing powerful thrust from start-up. The ECU automatically advances the ignition timing, while simultaneously increasing the fuel-to-air ratio to give you more boost from low rpm. This innovative technology patented for Honda's 4-stroke engines has become the benchmark in 4-stroke engine design.

HONDA BF 135D XCRU outboards are NMEA2000® compliant. There is no need to modify the wiring because everything is set up. Simply plug the engine into the CANbus network - the boat's nervous system - for total connectivity and control. Then the engine can be connected to other NMEA devices such as the navigation system, GPS, sonar devices, sounder and chartplotter. All information, including engine data, will be displayed via the multifunctional gauges.
