Generator PTO Single-phase / three-phase, equipped with a LINZ PRO18LG/4 alternator capable of delivering a power of 55KVA, complete with AVR voltage regulator.

The PTO generator is very reliable as it has been built and designed using high quality materials. The PTO generator is easy to transport, install and position thanks to its compact size, this model is ideal to be mounted on a tractor unit.

For correct operation, the generator needs to be connected to a tractor capable of delivering a mechanical power of at least 100 HP and a PTO speed of at least 430 rpm. The minimum parameters indicated are necessary for the correct functioning of the PTO generator, if they are not respected it is possible to cause malfunctions in the equipment.

The AVR is indispensable to make the generator work at its best, in fact it needs an electronic control system, an AVR, which guarantees the good working of the machine and of the electric network underlying it.

The purpose of the AVR, in a current generator, is to keep the output stable. And if its operation is very simple when resistive loads are fed, more complex is the matter in case of prevalently inductive loads: the delayed current opposes the inductor magnetic field, causing a voltage drop at the alternator output terminals; to compensate the phenomenon, the AVR intervenes automatically increasing the excitation current, until the output returns to the nominal value.
