MECC ALTE DER2 AUTOMATIC DIGITAL VOLTAGE REGULATOR

Regulator Mecc Alte DER2 fully digital voltage-controlled for synchronous alternators, prepared for stand-alone operation and calibration.

MECC ALTE DER2 natively includes USB port for monitoring and control from computer and HDR module.

High Dynamic Response allows faster reduction of excitation current than conventional controllers and consequently lower transient overvoltage as a result of load shedding.

The supervisory unit may consist of a personal computer, another "synoptic" device, or both; it does not have the real-time control function, but allows programming and display of all MECC ALTE DER2 functional parameters, via the USB port mounted on the board.

Remote control of output voltage by external potentiometer (25Kohm or 100Kohm)
Low speed protection with adjustable threshold and slope
Overvoltage and undervoltage alarm
Excitation overcurrent protection with delayed tripping
Under-excitation/loss of excitation alarm
Transient short-circuit management (asynchronous motor starting)
High Dynamic Response: load shedding management unit
Open collector (non-isolated) output for signaling protections tripping with programmable activation with respect to individual alarms and selectable tripping delay and active level
Storage of abnormal operating conditions (type of alarm, number of events, duration of last event, sum of times)
Storage of the operating time of the board
